Mario Lodigiani is the Managing Director of the office of the German EMAS Advisory Board (UGA) for which adelphi is the hosting organization.
Within the framework of project and committee work he provides support for the "Marketing, Communication and Facilitation of EMAS" and "Environmental Footprints" work groups. In addition, he works on public relations for the UGA and communication with national and international institutions such as the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA), the European Commission and the European EMAS Helpdesk. He also provides initial consultations for companies interested in the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) and gives lectures on the topic of environmental management according to EMAS.
Before starting work with the UGA, Mario Lodigiani worked as a consultant on behalf of an environmental verifier for ISO 14001-regulated environmental management systems, in particular for US army bases in Rhineland–Palatinate.
Mario Lodigiani graduated with a Masters degree in Environmental Studies (management, policy and strategy) at Lincoln University in New Zealand.
