Julia Gattner is part of adelphi’s energy team, where she works as Analyst. Her focus lies on advancing the national heat transition, with a particular emphasis on heat networks, heat planning, and international energy efficiency. The heat transition is a cornerstone of achieving a climate-neutral future. This means making buildings more energy-efficient and heating them in a climate-neutral way, while systematically decarbonising existing technologies. For Julia, it is especially important that this transformation is socially inclusive and enables citizens to play an active role.
"Transparent regulations and targeted funding mechanisms are essential to ensure that the heat transition succeeds not just environmentally, but socially as well. At adelphi, I have the opportunity to tackle these issues, develop evidence-based solutions, and help drive the heat transition forward."
