Cosima Stahr is Director at adelphi and leads several major projects in Europe and Asia. As an expert in corporate sustainability, she is responsible for project development, implementation and evaluation in the context of climate change, environmental protection and sustainable finance. With more than 15 years of experience, she combines deep technical knowledge with practice‑oriented delivery. She has extensive experience working with the European Commission, federal ministries, the private sector and non‑governmental organisations.
For adelphi she has designed and implemented numerous projects, including a KfW financing programme for innovative companies in India, GIZ projects on climate change adaptation and sustainable business practices, and the evaluation of the Federal Ministry for the Environment’s international climate initiative. She also led adelphi’s Asia office in Bangkok, Thailand, for more than three years.
As part of her role as Director at adelphi, she serves as Project Lead including for the EU-SWITCH to Green Facility and the EU-Japan Green Alliance.
In addition, Cosima Stahr contributes to government advisory work, inter alia for the SWITCH‑Asia Policy Support Component (PSC). The PSC is part of the largest EU programme for sustainable consumption and production in Asia and aims to improve the regulatory framework for sustainability in the economy. As an expert she contributes her specialist knowledge on circular economy and sustainable finance, including in the construction sector and on sustainable supply‑chain management for European companies.
