As a Manager at adelphi, Johanna Katharina Mützel works on the topic of circular economy. She primarily focuses on sustainability in textile supply chains, from compliance with environmental standards in production to the correct disposal and reuse of used clothes. She also works to reduce plastic and marine litter, one of the biggest environmental challenges of our time.
“The idea of the circular economy is fascinating to me. Natural resources are currently being extracted in unimaginable quantities, and we are producing ever greater amounts of waste. This is a path on which we cannot continue. At adelphi, I am involved in developing both political and practical solutions to counteract these developments.”
