Many farmers show a great willingness to do more on their land to preserve biodiversity and protect the environment. But why does this willingness only partially lead to more purposeful measures actually being implemented? And this despite the fact that they are even funded? Why does the loss of previously typical species of the agricultural landscape such as the field hamster, partridge, blue butterfly, field larkspur and co. continue unabated? CAP4GI gets to the root of these and other questions in work package 1 - and asks the farmers themselves.
