Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS)
Products marked Made in Germany have traditionally stood for quality. In the future, they should also be increasingly associated with German companies’ underlying social and environmental requirements and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). adelphi developed scenarios for how the CSR – Made in Germany concept could roll out, also identifying initial implementation steps. For this purpose, the project team interviewed relevant stakeholders in government and business to identify their wishes and ideas and deepen the knowledge gained in a joint workshop.
The results of the final study were integrated into the work of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), which is in charge of the implementation of the national CSR Strategy adopted in October 2010. With the CSR Action Plan, the Federal Government sought, amongst other things, to increase the visibility and credibility of CSR both domestically and abroad.
