The German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and adelphi applaude 25 environment and sustainability experts from Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia on successfully completing their 12-month advanced training in line with the “International Leadership Trainings (ILT)".
The ILT is part of various comprehensive Capacity Building programmes in the fields of energy and water. It qualifies specialists and executive staff from companies and institutions from developing and transition countries to initiate and manage change processes in their countries. During their stay in Germany, adelphi and its project partner Berlin Water International (BWI) arranged an eleven-week training course in the field of management competences, renewable energies/energy efficiency, and human resource development/public awareness in the water sector. Furthermore adelphi and BWI provided the participants with contacts in companies from the energy and water sector, where they completed a four-month internship.
A two-week training on the management of change processes marked the end of the programme. The participants were thereby prepared for returning to their home countries, where they will implement the developed transfer projects with the support of adelphi and BWI.
