Many EU countries clearly miss recycling targets for household waste

An article in the Frankfurter Rundschau on a new European Court of Auditors report finding that many EU member states are significantly missing their municipal waste recycling targets, drawing also on an adelphi study — co-authored by Paolo Facco — which shows that good governance and regulated competition are key to improving packaging recycling efficiency across the EU.
