Simone Annerose Podschun is Senior Advisor in the field of climate adaptation at adelphi. As a scientist and project coordinator, she has been researching and communicating on the topic of ecosystem services in the areas of adaptation to climate change in cities and water management for many years. The focus of her work is to prepare knowledge in a target group-oriented way (analyses, data, maps, documents), to bring together diverse practitioners (forming networks) and to support them in the challenge of adapting to climate change.
"We have known for a long time that adaptation to climate change is necessary and that nature-based solutions can create added value across disciplines. Through targeted communication, research and consulting at the interface of science and practice, I want to help shape the socio-ecological transformation towards a future worth living in, in which ecological qualities (such as urban green spaces, water resources) are consistently considered and thus secured and improved."
