Jeremy Bourgault is a Manager at adelphi in the field of green buildings and energy efficiency. Following his experiences in the construction industry and the international cooperation sector, Jeremy engages with institutions to scale up infrastructure decarbonisation internationally. He sees the transformation of buildings and the construction sector as a pressing necessity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and resource depletion, but also as an opportunity to shape more livable spaces.
“Buildings are a sleeping giant for the ecological transition. It is a booming sector which bundles the largest flow of energy, investments and resources on the planet. We must take a holistic approach to rethink construction and operation practices and ensure our homes, schools and other facilities are fit for the future.”
