Frank Kermann is a Consultant German EMAS Advisory Board, UGA in the branch office of the German EMAS Advisory Board (UGA), for which adelphi is the hosting organisation. As part of UGA’s committee and project work, he is involved in implementing measures to promote the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). Furthermore, he assists the UGA committee and its working groups in the area of stakeholder communication with ministries, associations and companies. Additionally, he provides initial consultations for companies interested in finding out more about EMAS and gives lectures on the topic of environmental management according to EMAS.
Before his employment at adelphi, Frank Kermann was responsible for project and event management at B.A.U.M. Consult. While working on numerous EU research projects, he created communication concepts for renewable energy integration, coordinated trade events that drew international participants and supervised online communication through project websites and social media. Before this Frank Kermann worked at APOLLO e.V. as a project leader. In this position he focussed on supporting the international exchange of expertise between agricultural professionals in Russia and Germany. His core responsibilities included coordinating internships, seminars, excursions and conferences, both locally and internationally.
While completing his Magister degree (eq. Master) in Ethnology, Environmental Sciences and Turkish Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, Frank Kermann gained project experience in Turkey, Russia and Ukraine. Additionally, he has worked part-time for many years as a graphic designer.
