Anna Erbacher works as Consultant at adelphi on the topic of climate adaptation, with a focus on climate risk analysis and urban climate resilience and adaptation strategies. Her current work focuses on strategies for promoting urban resilience in the EU and strengthening nature-based solutions as part of climate adaptation projects. Anna is convinced that climate resilience can only be achieved through the interaction of climate adaptation, greenhouse gas reduction and biodiversity protection, and is therefore particularly interested in solutions that move at the interface of these fields.
"Climate protection is often viewed in isolation. Through my work at adelphi, I can contribute to a more integrated approach where emission reduction targets, climate adaptation, and nature conservation are tackled together, making the most of potential synergies, while also incorporating considerations of equity and economic viability into these efforts."
