This paper, to be presented at the 39th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC 2022) in September 2022, the 8th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-8), aims to provide energy democracy promoters, i.e. the owners or managers of crowdfunding platforms, energy cooperatives and aggregators, two new tools to further support their businesses in renewable energy generation and citizen participation in the clean energy transition.
The tools presented in this paper were developed as part of the European Horizon 2020 project SocialRES. The goal of SocialRES is to fill non-technological research gaps to facilitate the widespread adoption of social innovation business and service models in the European energy sector.
The SocialRES consortium consists of thirteen partners selected for their expertise and experience to ensure the successful implementation of the novel research proposed in this project and to guarantee a broad geographical coverage.
