How does a green economy need to be designed in Germany? How can the socio-ecological transformation succeed despite all path dependencies and obstacles? And which factors are decisive for this at the different levels and fields such as mobility, resource conservation or energy-efficient renovation of buildings?

On the basis of the results of a 3-year research project by adelphi, Borderstep Institute and the Institute for Future Studies and Technology Assessment, the authors of the volume develop options for action for the overarching transformation to a Green Economy and open up perspectives for politics and business.
