National and subnational jurisdictions in Latin America have implemented or are considering the implementation of carbon pricing instruments. As a result, jurisdictions in the region have developed valuable experiences on the rationale and the process of implementing these instruments.

This report provides an overview of current status and trends of compliance carbon pricing instruments and voluntary carbon markets in the region.
