Successful EMAS implementation at the UGA executive office

Organisations looking to register for EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) are subjected to stringent examination by an external state-accredited environmental auditor. Validated organisations are entitled to promote themselves using the European EMAS logo, signalling to the public at large that they operate a diligent and efficient environmental management system.

adelphi has implemented EMAS at the executive office of the German Environmental Auditors' Board (Umweltgutachterausschuss – UGA for short) using the EMASeasy programme. adelphi runs the executive office on behalf of the UGA. The environmental data and the organisation's environmental programme were published in a joint environmental statement.
