Provision of information on foreign markets of the renewables - Made in Germany initiative

In a joint cooperation with enviacon international, adelphi was responsible for generating and analysing information on foreign markets for the renewables - Made in Germany initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

The goal of the initiative is to bring German and international technology providers of renewable energy systems together to create networks. The initiative supports the dissemination of renewable energy technologies worldwide to help mitigate climate change. The project team was composed of experts from both adelphi and enviacon and provides information on international renewable energy markets in the form of country profiles and factsheets. A key part of the team's activities was a comprehensive market analysis which provided a basis for the BMWi decision making with regard to upcoming initiative activities. Further tasks included supporting German Chambers of Commerce worldwide in the preparation of target market analyses. The team also advised the BMWi on concrete questions relating to international markets, conceptualised and organised special events within the framework of the initiative, and was the point of contact for the initiative's general communications and social media activities.
