Organising the IMPACT Business Awards

The IMPACT (Innovative Models Promoting Adaptation and Climate Technologies) Business Awards reward enterprises that apply innovative business solutions in combating Climate Change.

Hosted on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and organised by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), it offered a total of five International Awards in 2011. The Awards sought to identify innovative business models which can make a contribution to reducing the impact of climate change and can contribute to adaptation measures in emerging and developing economies. An international jury of experts selected the Award winners. In addition to a monetary prize, the winners were also involved in the International Business Forum 2012.

adelphi supported the GIZ in the design and management of the IMPACT Business Awards, ensuring the distinctions were recognised at the national and international levels and also taking part in the selection process.
