Ministerium für Energiewende, Landwirtschaft, Umwelt, Natur und Digitalisierung (MELUND) Schleswig-Holstein
The German state of Schleswig-Holstein, represented by its Ministry of Energy, Agriculture, the Environment, Nature and Digitalization (MELUND), contracted adelphi to create a set of indicators to measure and visualise the global responsibility of the state. These indicators are to be based on existing systems (such as the indicator system of the German Sustainability Strategy) and contribute to the discussion of sustainability indicators between the federation and the states. adelphi included external experts during the process of developing the indicators.
The selection of indicators was integrated into the implementation of the Agenda 2030 and of the UN Sustainable Development Goals at the state level, as well as into the development of an overarching list of indicators for sustainability in Schleswig-Holstein.
The final report is part of the base on which the government of Schleswig-Holstein can visualise the state's global responsibility.
