empowering people.Workshop on Organisational Development in Germany

With the “empowering people. Network” the Siemens Stiftung (foundation) aims to support developers/inventors of simple technologies and solutions as well as their implementation so that basic living conditions around the globe can be improved.

On October 4-6, 2016  the Siemens Stiftung hosted another “empowering people. Workshop” in Berlin, Germany. This event brought together 50 entrepreneurs and innovators from all over the world; they are  all are part of the Siemens Stiftung network and are working with technologies for basic needs. Over the two days the focus was on different topics in the field of “Organizational Development”. The workshop provided an opportunity to exchange views and ideas, learn from each other but also to gain insights from guests, who are experts in this field. The workshop was connected with the Awards Ceremony of the “empowering people. Award 2015”, which took place on the evening of October 6. The Ceremony offered an opportunity to connect with people from the German and European ecosystem working in Social Entrepreneurship, Development Cooperation and Technology.

adelphi was asked to co-conceptualize and co-facilitate this workshop in Berlin and the tasks included the overall concept, content development, development of creative elements & materials, as well as the co-moderation of the workshop.
