Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV)
The organisers of the Innovate4Climate - Finance & Markets Week (I4C) aim to establish the event as the largest conference on climate finance and carbon markets. Participants are major actors in project development and purchase of certificates, project operators and investors as well as policymakers and high-level representatives from governments around the world. With its comprehensive programme of conference sessions and workshops, the I4C provides a major forum for market players and decisionmakers from governments, international organisations as well as from the finance sector.
In perspective of COP24 in Katowice, Poland, being actively involved at the Innovate4Climate is essential to the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMU). The event offers opportunities to building networks for a stronger carbon market, advancing the Clean Development/Joint Implementation-Initiative (CDM/JIInitiative) and preparing negotiations on the carbon market within the framework of the UNFCCC. Following up on the success of earlier years (at Carbon Expos until 2016, at the Innovate4Climate since then) the BMU is organising again a German Pavilion at the I4C in Frankfurt (Main) from 22 to 24 May 2018.
adelphi is responsible for the implementation of the German Pavilion and all logistical and technical tasks as well as for supporting the German delegation. The main focus lies on planning the stand (including graphic design) and organising its build-up as well as coordinating different kinds of dialogue activities. adelphi is also offering a full service for the presentation of the BMU as well as the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and other exhibitors. This service includes coordinating, organising and implementing the entire Pavilion. Furthermore, adelphi is supporting the exhibitors in the implementation of different events at the Pavilion and with adequate public relation activities.
