adelphi publishes brochure on "Sustainable funds – Investing in a better future"

What does a personal savings account have to do with protecting the environment? The brochure "Sustainable funds – Investing in a better future" has the answer. It shows how important issues of the future(e.g. climate change, resource efficiency, better health protection, etc.) will have a direct impact on the returns made by investments. It also explains how every investment can help to promote and safeguard a quality environment.

The brochure is intended to assist consumers in making the leap from an abstract idea to a concrete investment. With this in mind, the emphasis was on providing important and effective consumer information, whilst also allowing critical voices to be heard and addressing any obstacles to practical implementation. The publication was presented and discussed as part of a national lecture series in collaboration with various organisations (consumer associations, educational institutions, etc.).

The project formed part of a very extensive campaign run by the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) called "Echt gerecht" ("Be fair"), which aimed to encourage consumers to adopt sustainable consumption and investment behaviour.
