Alexander Eden is an Advisor at adelphi working in the field of climate change mitigation. His specialties are emissions trading, carbon pricing, and market mechanisms. His work aims to help policymakers to develop and implement good-practice policies that can harness carbon markets and drive the transition to a sustainable low-carbon economy. At the Secretariat of the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP), Alexander tracks and analyses emissions trading systems, conducts capacity building, and facilitates technical dialogue between policymakers, with a regional focus on Asia-Pacific. He is also very interested in the distributional impacts of carbon pricing, as well as climate policy for the forestry and agriculture sectors.
