The energy consultant search made easy

Choosing the right energy consultant can be cumbersome. adelphi is collaborating with the German Hotel and Guest House Association (DEHOGA) to build partnerships in this area. The first agreements are taking place through DEHOGA North Rhine and DEHOGA Lower Saxony.

The KfW facilitates energy efficiency consulting through the program “Energy Consulting for Medium-Sized Businesses”. In order to streamline the search process for hoteliers and restaurateurs, adelphi is supporting the DEHOGA associations in the creation of partnerships with the most experienced energy consultants in each region. Researchers at the Berlin think tank conducted a survey of hoteliers and restaurateurs, gathering information concerning prior experiences with KfW accredited consultants. The consultants with the most positive reviews were then personally interviewed and selected by DEHOGA North Rhine and DEHOGA Lower Saxony as official partners in energy consulting.

In addition to Lower Saxony and North Rhine, there are also agreements in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria, Brandenburg, and Thuringia. For these regions, the respective state associations will oversee contact to the selected energy consultants.
