adelphi is developing an information platform within the inter-regional "Baltadapt" project for the German Federal Environmental Agency. The platform provides information on climate change and adaptation in the Baltic Sea region. The site will go online in September.
The Baltic countries are cooperating in order to adapt to climate change. In the context of the Baltadapt project, they are developing a central adaptation strategy and action plan that includes an Internet platform. It will be integrated into the European Union’s existing adaptation portal Climate-ADAPT and make information on climate change and adaptation options in the Baltic Sea region available. The platform is addressed to decision-makers from politics and administration who obtain an improved access to Baltadapt’s results and other Baltic-specific adaptation projects.
adelphi is developing the concept and refining existing as well as new contents for the portal. Projects, documents and other products that are relevant to climate change adaptation in the Baltic Sea region will be included in the Climate-ADAPT database. It is expected that the new sites will be launched in September.
