Growth that is both socially and environmentally equitable is a central challenge for the Indian economy. The project Corporate Sustainability Management in Indian Companies (CoSMIC) aims at supporting Indian companies in developing sustainability strategies.
The new project website www.cosmic-india.net offers an expanded range of information related to all project- and training activities. The CoSMIC project has upgraded the portfolio of the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development (CESD) of the Indian business association CII. New trainings focus on Corporate Climate Change Strategies, Leadership and Strategy for Corporate Sustainability and a Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner programme. All training materials can now be downloaded. In addition, the new website offers additional information on the training schedule and past training experiences.
CoSMIC runs for four years and will end in spring 2011. It is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), carried out by InWEnt and supported by adelphi.
