The free CLIENT Conference 2024 invites representatives from research, business, and politics to discuss the outcomes and future perspectives of the CLIENT funding initiative, promote sustainable innovations, and tackle global challenges together.
How can we find intelligent solutions to address the global societal challenges of our time? Only through the cooperation of research, business, and other key societal sectors can we bring together those actors capable of overcoming these challenges. For this reason, the CLIENT Conference 2024 will take place on 28th and 29th November 2024 at the dbb Forum in Berlin, aiming to strengthen international partnerships and sustainable innovations. Secure your place for free here!
For 14 years, the "CLIENT – International Partnerships for Sustainable Innovations" funding initiative has been supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), promoting demand-driven research collaborations with emerging and developing countries. The aim of this initiative is to develop solutions in the fields of climate, environment, resources, and energy, and to test them practically on site. A total of up to 140 million euros has been invested in the development of technologies, products, services, and system solutions that contribute to addressing specific challenges in partner countries.
The conference offers a platform for sharing project results, inspiring keynote speeches, and interactive discussion sessions. Representatives from research, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and politics are expected to network and share insights into their projects and initiatives. Participants can look forward to presentations on the outcomes of CLIENT projects that promote innovative and sustainable solutions. Additionally, future perspectives for international research collaborations and the promotion of sustainable innovations will be discussed. If you wish to participate, you can register here for free.
The scientific accompanying project "Client2Works," conducted by adelphi research, supports the effectiveness of the CLIENT funding initiative through coordination, networking, and communication activities. adelphi research coordinates and cross-links individual projects, explores synergies between joint projects, and assists the BMBF in public relations and the further development of the funding initiative.
