In mid-November, adelphi provided a two-day training course for employees of Continental AG on the subject of Energy Management. The event focused on establishing an operative energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001.
By implementing a professional approach to energy management, companies and organizations can achieve a systematic and continual increase in energy efficiency levels. Companies that make energy management an integral part of their business processes benefit from cost reductions, and therefore enjoy a significant competitive advantage. The two-day training course paved the way for a continual exchange of experiences with energy management among the facility managers for Continental Automotive’s sites in Germany. The course focused on the topics of developing and introducing an operative energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001, and explaining the relevant legal framework. The main technical approaches for increasing energy efficiency were also presented in a session on interdisciplinary technologies and discussed with the facility managers.
