As the Millennium Development Goals will be expiring in two years, the international community has already started the drafting process for a new post-2015 development and sustainability agenda. adelphi supports a BMZ event on the role of German companies within this framework.
The event which takes part at the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development on August 28, will bring together around 120 participants from German companies, sector associations, federal ministries and employees of the German Parliament to jointly develop ideas for the future role and contributions of the private sector in the drafting and implementation of the post-2015 agenda.
adelphi has been tasked with the design of the working group process for the German International Development Cooperation (GIZ) on a total of ten topics and with the moderation of the working group on energy, climate and environmental sustainability.
