On 12 December 2011 AGRION, the Global Network for Energy, Cleantech, Corporate Sustainability, will hold the “Social & Environmental Entrepreneurship” conference in Frankfurt, based on a concept developed by adelphi. The event will focus on finding ways to forge stronger links between a company's CSR activities and its key business areas and expertise.
Working together with social & environmental entrepreneurs creates a diverse range of opportunities for companies. The conference particularly highlights the added value generated by innovative business ideas and the involvement of social and environmental entrepreneurs in CSR activities, such as identifying future customer groups at the base of the pyramid, corporate volunteering, further training of employees and social commitment in current and future target markets. The conference will throw light on and investigate various potential starting points.
AGRION organised the conference in cooperation with adelphi, whose team developed the concept and will host the conference. AGRION is an international business network, bringing together companies active in the areas of energy, cleantech, raw materials and sustainable development. It was founded in 2006 by a community of international entrepreneurs.
