From September 26 to 27, adelphi conducted in cooperation with iproplan Planungsgesellschaft a coaching for multipliers from the Tunisian building sector in Tunis, Tunisia. The coaching took place as part of a project that promotes energy efficiency in buildings in the Maghreb region.
The application of sustainable building techniques and renovation measures as well as the implementation of resource-saving technologies could make a substantial contribution to the prevention of climate change. To use this potential to save energy and resources has become a main objective of the countries in the Maghreb region that is currently detained by a lack of qualified personnel in energy efficient building techniques. Against this background, adelphi is implementing a series of training seminars on behalf of the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit" (GIZ).
The coaching for multipliers from the Tunisian building sector aimed at strengthening participants’ knowledge gained in the frame of a threepart training cycle concentrating on energy efficient building envelope that has taken place between November 2010 and March 2011 in Germany and Morocco.
