Last Sunday, adelphi and Brazilian NGO Vitae Civilis staged the closing event of „Environment, Conflict and Cooperation”. The exhibition focuses on environmental conflicts in general and in Brazil in particular.
German consul general Dr Michael Worbs addressed the importance of the German-Brazilian partnership in the context of global protection of environment and climate. The problems displayed in the exhibition emphasised the significance of sustainable development in order to maintain peace and stability, he said.
“Environment, Conflict and Cooperation” had already been displayed in Porto Alegre during the World Social Forum and will be open to visitors in the Museum for Sustainability in Sao Paolo.
