adelphi to assess the economic issues related to expanding the renewables sector

In view of the continued growth of the renewable energy sector and the impending energy turnaround, providing the public with more balanced information based on scientific facts is key. adelphi will assist and advise the Federal Environment Ministry as it prepares the scientific groundwork.
Systematically pursuing the goals set out by the federal government to expand the renewable energy sector over the next few years could spark a new discussion on the pros and cons of renewable power generation, which could also include the topics of heat supply and mobility. In order to keep the debate objective, the BMU has commissioned adelphi to assess the various economic issues that could arise during the expansion phase.
The Berlin think-tank plans to compile scientific reports which will serve as a basis for cost-benefit analyses. adelphi will also produce publications and specialist information packages for various target groups.
