For more than 25 years, adelphi's entities have been working under one roof to develop solutions to environmental, climate, and development challenges. Over this time, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for sustainable transformation, both in research and in strategic advisory work.
Effectively supporting socio-ecological transformation requires independent research as well as advisory services with strong implementation capacity. With a new organisational structure, we are creating the conditions to strengthen both areas and to work with even greater focus in each of them.

Two Entities, One Shared Purpose
As of 1 January 2026, we have updated our structure. The non-profit entities adelphi research and adelphi global are now independent but closely connected legal entities.
adelphi research/global (gGmbH) will focus on non-profit research projects and the transfer of scientific findings into practice.
adelphi consult (GmbH) will continue to focus on strategic consulting and service projects in the public and private sectors.
Each entity will be managed independently, enabling a clearer focus on its respective core areas.

What Unites Us
The entities remain closely connected. We continue to work together, combine our expertise and share a common foundation of values. This reorganisation is a deliberate step to strengthen both areas.
