adelphi presents study approach at the Indo-German Energy Forum (IGEF)

On behalf of the IGEF adelphi will carry out a study on "Promotional Schemes for Demand-Side Energy Efficiency". At a kick-off meeting in New Delhi the stakeholders discussed the approach and upcoming milestones of the study.

The Sub Group 3 on “Demand-Side Energy Efficiency and Low Carbon Growth Strategies” of the Indo-German Energy Forum (IGEF) held a meeting in New Delhi on November 13, 2013. At the meeting, Mikael P. Henzler, Managing Director of adelphi, presented the approach and methodology of a study on "Promotional Schemes for Demand-Side Energy Efficiency" that adelphi will carry out. Further Mikael P. Henzler introduced the German standards and labelling scheme for energy efficient buildings to the group allowing for a productive exchange of experiences between India and Germany.

The Sub Group 3 acts within the framework of the Indian National Mission on Enhanced Energy Efficiency under the National Action Plan on Climate Change.
