Climate experts will meet with the participants of the youth dialogue "Our Climate! Our Future!" in Berlin and discuss what possibilities they see for implementing a climate-neutral world. Registration is possible until 8 May 2018.
At the 23rd World Climate Conference in Bonn in 2017, the Federal Environment Ministry gave representatives of the younger generation the opportunity to formulate and make public their demands on future climate protection policy with the youth dialogue "Our Climate! Our Future!" The demands and recommendations of the approximately 200 young people involved include: consistent and ambitious climate policy - for example through the phasing out of fossil fuels and more financial incentives for climate-friendly economic development and growth - the support of an attractive public transport system and the integration of climate-relevant topics into the education system. They also demanded more opportunities for participation in climate politics at both the national and international level.
At the "Our Climate! Our Future!" youth dialogue at the 23rd World Climate Conference - experts from all generations took a look back and discussed various perspectives with the young authors of these demands in order to find out which possibilities they see for implementation.
