Sophia Leandra Binz

Sophia Binz works as an Consultant at adelphi in the areas of energy efficiency and energy policy. In addition to supervising the energy efficiency campaign of the hospitality industry and helping with scientific studies on the energy efficiency of products, Sophia supports the energy policy dialogue between Germany and its partner countries Japan and South Korea.

"The mitigation of climate change is currently the decisive challenge that sets the course for the future of humanity. Therefore, a strong global commitment to the expansion of renewable energies and green technologies is required, while fossil fuels must be consistently phased out. At the same time, it is crucial to reduce overall energy consumption and increase the energy efficiency of all industries. In my position at adelphi, I get the opportunity to work on both topics thus making my contribution to achieving these goals."
