Laura Libera is Head of Human Resources at adelphi. Her main responsibilities include personnel and management support and the development of strategic human resource projects. She also works on recruiting, personnel development, training, and human resource controlling.
Before joining adelphi, Laura was HR Manager at the DKB foundation for corporate responsibility and its subsidiary, DKB Stiftung Liebenberg gemeinnützige GmbH. In addition to personnel and management support, she was responsible for all general HR Management tasks. At DKB, Laura worked as a registered trainer for vocational trainees in office management. Her work also included focusing on and integrating people with disabilities into the primary labour market.
After completing her studies in economics with a major in Human Resources and Organization, she worked for a couple of months in Cape Town, South Africa. This experience influenced her diploma thesis on the development of the Republic of South Africa since apartheid.
Upon her return to Germany, she first worked at a start-up company for the solar energy industry, and then for a personnel services provider for office and finance. She then worked for the Diakoniewerk Bethel.
