Corinna Schmitt works as a Manager Business Development and is responsible for the development of project proposals. She focuses on coordinating and assisting with proposals for national clients and programmes. Regarding topics and methodologies, she covers a large part of adelphi's portfolio, but her main area is climate, environment and resources.
Prior to her work for adelphi, she was a research assistant at the Institut für Energie- und Umweltforschung Heidelberg (ifeu) for two years with a focus on energy consumption in private homes (efficiency & sufficiency). During her time at ifeu she gained insights into quantitative impact analysis and quantitative surveying based on questionnaires. She also worked at the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where she supported the project “Information Matters” with organising climate reporting activities.
Corinna Schmitt holds a Bachelor‘s degree in electrical engineering with focus on renewable energies as well as a Master’s degree in renewable energies. Her studies focused on the generation and storage of electricity and heat from renewable energies.
