EU China Track 2 dialogue on climate change

The EU-China relationship is of crucial importance for a climate-neutral future and international cooperation. Engaging EU and Chinese stakeholders in a continuous dialogue and exchange is important to strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding. This is precisely the aim of the EU-China Track 2 dialogue, co-organized by adelphi and Germanwatch, launched in November 2021.

In the past two years, a core group of experts from China and Europe met regularly each quarter for a half-day exchange to discuss selected topical issues with the participants. Another important output of this dialogue is the policy brief for stakeholders on both sides to understand each other.
