adelphi provides bi-monthly online briefings for the client JETRO on current developments and discussions on energy and climate policy in Germany and EU as well as relevant trends of the private sector in Germany on selected energy issues. The briefings cover in particular the following topics: photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation, hydrogen and its derivatives, e-fuels, CCUS, energy management, electricity market and general overview of the national regulatory framework.
Primary source of information for the content of the briefings is a daily detailed news review on all relevant developments in the German and European energy sector, third-party policy background analyses, position statements by relevant stakeholders (e.g. industry associations, trade organisations etc) as well as a weekly social media analysis of the topics at consideration.
Additionally, adelphi is responsible for six adhoc analysis in form of brief papers upon request. In general, the topics for the brief papers are somehow covered by those in online briefings, but the brief papers obtain deeper background information on the topic of interest, an in-depth analysis of public position statements by stakeholders and politicians (e.g. industry associations) and are complemented by interviews with relevant experts on the German or EU level.
