CliMalta - A web application for the impact assessment and eligibility checking of energy efficiency and renewable energy financing in Malta

Between May 2021 and December 2023, adelphi developed and maintained CliMalta — a webtool that simplified and streamlined the assessment of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in Malta.

The tool was designed to support the deployment of the European Investment Fund Financial Instrument for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Malta: The website helped both the EIF partner financial intermediaries (APS Bank and Bank of Valetta) and project final recipients in assessing an investment's impact on energy savings, GHG emissions reductions and the renewable energy capacity added. CliMalta also helped raise awareness about the positive financial impact from energy efficiency and renewable projects and contributed to project pipeline building. The tool was decommissioned in December 2023. Visitors to CliMalta will now be redirected to the EIB Group Green Gateway portal where they will have access to other tools with similar functionalities
