Bilateral strategies for a Green Economy: workshops with think tanks in India and Brazil

Several major developing countries, or “emerging economies”, are increasingly playing a major role in the global governance system. Therefore, the continuous development of strategic partnerships with such countries is an important goal for the Federal Government of Germany to achieve, especially in the areas of climate protection, energy and the environment.

In this context, adelphi organised two workshops in India and Brazil on behalf of the German Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). In cooperation with local NGOs and think tanks, the two workshops aimed at developing concrete topics for the bilateral cooperation.
