New Project on New Ways of Climate Diplomacy

In light of the limited progress towards a crisis and conflict preventive international climate policy, adelphi in cooperation with the German Federal Foreign Office identify and further develop innovative foreign policy options regarding climate issues.

To this end, adelphi will conduct an in-depth analysis jointly with players of German and international climate diplomacy. It endeavors to develop new ideas and stimuli of how to strategically and practically address the ever more visible challenges of climate change, regarding both mitigation and adaptation. This includes action to foster networks, promote dialogue and facilitate the exchange of information. It also entails developing competences of relevant players and multipliers as well as strengthening existing regional dialogues and extending them to additional regions and stakeholders.
