Jasmin Paulus is a Manager in the areas of energy policy and energy campaigns. In particular, she deals with communications support for energy policy instruments as well as the development of training courses and information services for companies in various industries.
Before joining adelphi, Jasmin worked at the Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena) and was involved in the framework contract for advising Department II of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). In this context, she coordinated the collaboration with the BMWi as well as over 20 subcontractors. In addition to her extensive work in project management, Jasmin was involved in various individual calls, including evaluating the effects of energy management systems, designing an efficiency guide and developing criteria for a differentiated target group approach in energy efficiency communication. She also took part in a project on three model municipalities as well as local energy cooperatives for upgrading street lighting to be more energy efficient. Jasmin has in-depth expertise in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, which she used, for example, in the evaluation of the funding program “Investment grants for the use of highly efficient cross-sectional technologies in medium-sized companies”.
Jasmin completed a Masters in Urban Geography with a focus on Economic Geography at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. As part of her master's thesis, she developed an Excel tool that municipalities can use to evaluate and prioritize potential energy efficiency measures. During her bachelor's degree in geography at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and studies in urban and regional planning at the Technische Universität Berlin, she spent a semester abroad at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, where she wrote her bachelor's thesis as part of a PROMOS scholarship.
