Josephine Collier is an Analyst in the Climate Diplomacy and Security team at adelphi. Her multifaceted background includes experience in international and EU diplomacy through her work at the EU Delegation to the UN, climate peace and security within the UN DPPA's Climate, Peace and Security Unit, and environmental crime through her work at the Wildlife Justice Commission. This diverse experience uniquely positions her to understand how environmental degradation and resource exploitation can fuel instability, and how diplomatic mechanisms can address climate-related peace and security challenges. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social science and a master’s degree in political science (International Politics).
