This project aims to accelerate the sustainable transformation of Sri Lanka’s industrial sector by promoting the Eco-Industrial Parks (EIP) concept. Supported by the EU Green Recovery Facility and implemented by Expertise France, the initiative focuses on converting existing industrial parks into resource-efficient, low-carbon, and socially inclusive hubs. Through a combination of policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and targeted capacity-building programmes for park operators, tenant industries, and government bodies, the project seeks to institutionalise EIP best practices. By addressing policy gaps, enhancing technical skills, and fostering collaboration, the project will support Sri Lanka’s transition towards a circular economy, improve environmental and social outcomes, and contribute to the country’s green growth agenda. adelphi provides the Team Leader and the Capacity Building Expert.
