The Energy Export Initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) organises a free specialists event on innovative business models in foreign markets on 13 October 2016. adelphi provides support services in the development, implementation and moderation of the event.
The business models of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in the renewable energy sector have long been adapting themselves to a set remuneration system. Due to changing standards in foreign markets however – for example the introduction of new support systems, but also the increasing competitiveness of renewable energy technologies with conventional solutions – innovative models must be developed for successful business.
Even for companies in the field of energy efficiency it will become increasingly interesting to provide new energy services, for example in combination with renewable energy, abroad. For the successful implementation of such business models, enterprises need to provide not only innovative products, but also specific solutions to critical success factors such as addressing new customer groups and funding opportunities.
In this context, Export Initiative Energy invites you to the following BMWi specialists event:
Innovative business models for energy solutions in foreign markets

At the trade event, all representatives of the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector should experience in practice, how German SMEs can successfully implement innovative business models in international markets. Topics on "innovative products and new services", "adjustments to the marketing and sales approach" and "implementation of energy projects in markets without feed-in tariff" will be examined closely.
In addition to informative expert presentations, the programme will include discussions with company representatives who have successfully implemented innovative business models. This leaves plenty of room for a dialogue with the experts and entrepreneurs. Alongside interactive discussions, there will also be an opportunity for networking between the participants.
The event is aimed at providing, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises, the investments and technologies in the field of renewable energy, construction industry and technology, heating and cooling systems with biomass and geothermal energy, smart grids and energy storage.
