Constanze Haug is Managing Director of adelphi. She has been working on different aspects of European and international climate policy for almost 20 years and advises ministries and international organisations on market-based approaches to climate action. For many years, she headed the secretariat of the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP), an international coalition of more than 40 governments. As an experienced strategist, facilitator and trainer, she brings different stakeholders to the table to work collaboratively on enhanced climate ambition.
"Curbing the climate crisis is the defining challenge of this century. However, the required transformation must not ignore social and societal impacts, but ensure that life gets better for most people. This is possible, and at adelphi, we are developing ideas and concepts to this end."
