Bettina Huber is an Analyst at adelphi in the interface between climate risk, vulnerability, and adaptation - nationally and internationally. Her work at-date focuses on participatory research and the design of applications to promote municipal climate adaptation and urban resilience. Bettina’s specific interests lie in processes and actions that promote far-reaching systemic changes to given structures and power relations, rooted within a socio-ecological justice perspective.
“Climate change and its multi-facetted effects still do not receive the serious attention they deserve. At adelphi, I can help shape research projects in a way that they promote climate-action, while also following participatory and justice-based approaches, pointing towards a necessary socio-ecological transformation”
